Important information:

b) Prior to booking an appointment, the applicants are required to complete the application online for the particular service and visit designated service provider - VFS Global, UK- India website https://services.vfsglobal.com/gbr/en/ind/for the latest information and guidelines regarding process and supporting documents for your application.

RESCHEDULE APPOINTMENT Rescheduling of appointment is not allowed. Applicants can request to cancel the appointment and then book a new appointment.

Global Pravasi Rishta Portal : Government of India has launched a Global Pravasi Rishta Portal with the primary objective to establish a network between the members of India diaspora and the Indian Missions/Posts abroad. For effective interaction, all members of the Indian diaspora in the UK are, therefore, requested to spare a few minutes and register themselves, by clicking: https://pravasirishta.gov.in/home

No Walk in Service : All applicants are advised to take a correct prior appointment before visiting the VFS center for submission of documents. There is currently no walk in service. Please choose correct service while taking an appointment. VFS will not accept any wrong appointment.

Tatkaal/Emergency Passport Service : Any applicant who needs Tatkaal passport service on account of bereavement or serious medical emergency, may write to Passport.london@mea.gov.in with full documentary evidence.

Visa Processing Time : Kindly note that the Visa processing and dispatch of visa, passport and other documents to the applicant will take about 10-15 days. This is also subject to submission of complete documentation and fulfilling all requisite requirements.
