Independence Day 2023 Reception

Ambassador Mr. Md. Noor Rahman Sheikh hosted Reception on the occasion of 77th Independence Day of India and spoke about the Indian growth story and enhancing India-Lebanon bilateral relations. Lebanese Speaker represented by MP H.E. Mr. Ali Oseiran, PM represented by Dy PM H.E. Mr. Saadeh Al Shami, Minister of Public Health H.E. Dr Firas Abiad, Minister of Energy H.E. Mr. Walid Fayad & Minister of Foreign Affairs represented by COP H.E. Ms Abir Ali graced the occasion. Members of diplomatic corps, Lebanese and Indian nationals also attended. Cultural Performances including Bharatanatyam, Naga Dance, Bollywood Dance (Naacho Nachoo Song) and singing of Vande Matram were highlights of the event.
