Embassy of India, Beirut organized a mesmerizing ‘Bharatiya Dance & Musical Evening’ as part of ‘Promotion of Cultural Ties with Diaspora’ in Beirut on 27 July 2025. Ambassador Noor Rahman Sheikh welcomed the diaspora & encouraged them to remain connected with Indian culture. Indian Council For Cultural Relations’s talented dance troupe-Amaiza led by Ms Nitisha Nanda performed on a number of Bollywood and regional songs. Lebanese Suprano Singer Maria Mattar, Shehnai player Daniel Balabane & Indian Tabla player Chetan Shukla along with Indian Battalion team also enthralled the 300-strong audience with their superb performances. Lebanese MP HE Ali Osseiran was the chief guest of the event. Ambassador Sheikh presented the artists with certificates of appreciation.
